Why have your event at Social Good Place? We are a nonprofit, not a just a venue. Social Good Place doesn’t exist to fill anyone’s pockets; we are here to serve our mission, and yours.

When you host your reception, fundraiser, workshop, performance, with us, you’re investing in a community that believes in the good work that you do.

Our Spaces

Auditorium & Green Room | Seats 100 in vintage pews and optional chairs, or create a flex area in front of of the stage for mingling or soft seating. Attached private Green Room. Upgrade your experience with enhanced AV support, ambient lighting, or our projector to help you share your message. $200 per hour, 3-hour minimum.

Gathering Hall & Kitchen | The Gathering Hall features dimmable lighting and tons of open space to flex to your vision. The attached catering kitchen is a perfect launch pad to serve your guests, whether you opt for a plated or buffet-style service. Seats up to 60 guests. $175 per hour, 3-hour minimum.

Conference Room | Our hybrid-enabled Conference room seats up to 12 comfortably for your Board retreat, training, workshop, or co-working session. $50 per hour, 1-hour minimum.

Basement Flex Space | Seats 30 in our cool, quiet basement flex space, just six steps down from our street-level entrance. Make ar together, host a workshop, huddle up with your team for an all day-strategy sesh. $100 per hour, 3-hour minimum.

Collaboratory | The Collaboratory is private, yet spacious. Whimsical and ready to get to work. This space is wonderful for small meetings, affinity groups, makers, and clubs. $75 per hour, 3-hour minimum.

The Workshop | The Workshop is mysterious and — can you hear it? — calls to creatives looking for a space to hold a class or workshop. Maybe a movement rehearsal. Cat not included. $100 per hour, 2-hour minumum.

“I am a Portland artist, and when I had the wild idea of making a giant mural from hundreds of repurposed pieces of plastic waste with dozens of other community members, the first people I thought about to partner with was the team at Social Good Place. [They] truly understood what I was trying to achieve and build through this project and provided so much behind-the-scenes support. The Collaboratory at SGP was the perfect place for us to gather in and strengthen the community through working with our hands. The Gathering Hall then brought the mural and my other artwork to life when I exhibited there during my solo art show recently. SGP has both the physical infrastructure and this soul to help me cure vision the reality.”

Free access to our parking lot, just across the street from the building on 45th Ave.
Free listing on our calendar, if desired
