Most weddings and other big celebrations encompass the Main Floor of Social Good Place, as well as the two restrooms on the lower level. If your event requires more space, let’s chat!
-
While our legal capacity for both the Auditorium and Gathering Hall is 100 people each, Social Good Place is the best fit for events with a maximum guest list of 80 people.
-
The 2000 sq ft Auditorium at Social Good Place has high ceilings and beautiful, original stained glass windows, casting warm light in the room.
AV capacity for both sound and projection.
Dimmable chandelier lights, spot lighting on the stage.
Seating is on vintage benches and padded folding chairs.
The floor of the Auditorium has 1% grade down towards the stage.
-
The Gathering Hall is 1,550 sq ft and very flexible in setup, accommodating theater seating layouts, as well as rounds, rectangles, and 30” high tops.
A stone pass-through bar connects the Gathering Hall to the Kitchen, which features a flat top electric stove, double ovens, microwave, and refrigerator for your caterers to warm and hold, if needed.
-

No blocking exits, hallways, or accessibility paths.
All fabrics, draping, and large props must be flame-retardant.

All lighting and A/V must be UL-listed; no unapproved electrical hookups.

Your security deposit may be used to clean, repair, or replace items that are stained or damaged during your event. (Real life example: ballpoint pen ink on the white tablecloth.)

Event Day Details
setup, cleanup, timing, and coordinating
-
Your Day-of Coordinator is the orchestra conductor that keeps your day running smoothly and allows you to enjoy your own celebration.
They’ll coordinate with us, your venue, as well as any other vendors — such as catering, photography, or DJ.
They have the schedule and will keep everyone on task and troubleshoot if anything unexpected happens for you.
We do not require that you hire a professional Coordinator for your event at Social Good Place; a friend or volunteer will do, as long as there is someone competent in the role that we can direct others to if needed.
-
Social Good Place will always set up tables and chairs for your event. Any decorations not furnished by SGP are the renters’ responsibility to both set up and clean up.
Additional set up and clean up may be your responsibility according to your specific contract or package.
-
Because for most reservations, cleanup should end at 10pm, the music can go until approximately 9pm.
